Which data we process
When you subscribe to our newsletter we process your first name and email address. For the operation of the website we process technically necessary data such as your IP address and browser type. With your consent, we process anonymised statistical data about your visit.
Purpose and legal basis
Your data are used exclusively to send the newsletter and to improve our editorial content. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6, paragraph 1, subsection a GDPR) and, for necessary processing, our legitimate interest.
Retention period
We keep your subscription data for as long as you remain a subscriber. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every newsletter. After unsubscribing, your data are deleted within 30 days.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and transfer your data. You can also object to processing. Send your request to redactie@dinvarelia.com. You may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Third parties
We do not share your data with third parties, except with our newsletter delivery partner, which acts as a processor and is bound by a processor agreement under the GDPR.
